Murasie is adorned with green lawns and white Eucalyptus trees overlooking a large dam. The venue compromises of a big oak tree ceremony area complete with seating amphitheatre, lobby, reception area, kitchen, bar, serving area and bathrooms segregated for men, women as well as wheelchair users. In addition to the existing building we also avail a bedouin tent as an extension. This can be utilized for weddings larger than 180 people for your convenience.
Savour the gravitas of your wedding ceremony in our beautiful amphitheatre under old oak trees with a tree stump pulpit. The area is complemented by a large church bell that is rung on the arrival of the bride. Defined by a tasteful fusion of natural elements and elegant characteristics, the ceremony area represents a unique and poignant setting. Whilst most guests will enter the amphitheatre via the gorgeous wooden bridge that crosses a small pond, the area is also accessible for wheelchairs and the elderly. Our brand new reception hall boasts an industrial steel framework with glass stacked doors on the front and side of the building. This not only allows guests to experience the phenomenal view over the dam and superb sunset; it also allows you to be in control of opening and closing of doors. Guests can therefore breathe in the fresh country air when so desired or close the doors if a cool ocean breeze moves through the valley.
Upon entering the venue you are welcomed by our focal and distinguished stonewall as well as our spacious dance floor. Our oversized fireplace will not only ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere, but will also create the ideal cosy environment to experience the glorious view any time of the year regardless of season. The Murasie bar is large enough to facilitate many patrons and finished off with beautiful woodwork and barn doors to further exemplify the elegant yet industrial ambiance that is signified by Murasie.
