Webersburg Wine Estate is more than a winery—it is a living chapter of South African wine history. Established as Groenerivier farm in 1693, its elegant Cape Dutch homestead and cellar date to 1786, making it one of the Western Cape’s oldest continuously operated wine properties. This rich heritage gives Webersburg a distinctive character: visitors don’t merely taste wine; they experience centuries of winemaking tradition, preserved in the architecture and the estate’s philosophy.
Webersburg specializes in limited-production, premium wines that express the estate’s unique Helderberg terroir within the Golden Triangle of Stellenbosch. The wines are shaped by cool maritime influences and decomposed granite soils at the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains.
