The highlight of the whole day was walking down the aisle to my future husband to be. The moment I saw him I knew that FOREVER was about to start. I could feel God’s presence and the calmness He brought over me.
Memorable moments were definitely when we almost dropped the cake, trying to cut it, but then we dropped the piece that we had to eat instead #lol!
Our first dance was amazing and our grand entrance was straight out of a romantic movie! My HUSBAND decided to carry me into the reception hall and it was just the best!
Another memorable moment for us was the speeches done by our close friends and hearing how they percieve us and cherish our love and unity.

We kept it local and went to good old beautiful Swellendam in Citrusdal’s Valley! We had the most amazing time visiting old iconic places, getting day drunk at wine farms, we visited the hot springs, chased waterfalls and sang all the way in the car to our favorite beats! What a perfect couple of days. Take me back!!!
My wedding look was a romantic boho look with a touch of sexy! My dress was fitting in all the right places, my hair was in a beautiful boho styled pony with a gorgeous hairclip from Lovisa. I wore minimal jewelry to add to the softness and I wore the most sexy and sparkly shoes from Forever New.
My make up was AMAZE!!! Done my no other that Leeanne van Zyl! She is a magician with make up!
We got married at Hudsons’s at Vredenheim in Stellenbosch. Most of our guests stayed at guesthouses around the venue.
I kept my beauty routine the same as always. However I did get some stress break outs and just used a cleansing mask once a week.
I ate healthy, drank plenty of water and went to the gym 6times a week.

Our decor was simplistic and elegant. We decided to not go crazy with flowers. We had beautiful candleabras and went for a navy, silver and peach colour palette.
My bridesmaids wore navy tule skirts with an elegant peach v-neck blouse. They looked amazing. A lady in Durban made the dresses.
We had the most amazing photographer- inka Photography . She is a lifestyle photographer and she captures moments, which is what we wanted. We are very intimate and love how Talita captures those special moments that happens inbetween normal lenses. She was absolutely amazing. Because we had her we decided not to have a videographer as she captured the day fully.
We had an insane party! We did not have any dance leasons at all. We wanted it all to be very real and not staged. We love us and thats what we did.. us.
