Our story is pretty special as I literally can say that I had been waiting for this day my entire life.
The day I got to marry my soul mate. When telling our story of how we met, it begins with such a big smile as someone will always interrupt and say "they bathed together at the age of 5". Yes this is true; we went to the same Pre-School and become the best of friend. (PLEASE SEE PICTURE OF US AT THIS AGE IN THE GALLEY)
When it was time to go to Primary School we went our separate ways and totally forgot about one another as kids that age do. It was only years later when we were in Standard 9 that by the Grace of God we crossed paths...and let’s just say the rest is history, this beautiful man is now my husband and the father of our beautiful Son.
The highlight was without a doubt finally saying "I DO" and the most memorable moments that I will forever be eternally grateful for was having my father walk me down the aisle, blessed that my mother was there for me for all the nags and dress fittings, my brother who stood next to my husband to be and then of course we were eternally blessed that our Son could share the special day with us.
We will be going on a familymoon in July with our 2 year old son to Madeira.
My hair and Make Up were done by the incredible team at D@M Agency and the most talented dress maker EVER Braam Pieterse from CJA Haute Couture created my dream Wedding dress!
We got married at the most beautiful venue - Bakenhof in Wellington.

Stress hahaha with work and a two year old the build up to the wedding went so fast.
I wanted a classic look with white and gold with flowers hanging from the roof and our florist John from Kenly Florist did an amazing job with the rose ball center piece and hanging flowers.
They looked incredibly beautiful in all white, dresses from White Runway.
We got married in the Catholic Church and Deccan Terry Okkerts married us.
We had the talented Leanne from Picturess capture our special day.
No, i did it myself with the help of the bridesmaid the night before setting up... Fun but not so much fun hahaha Forever thankful for them.
We were very fortunate to have Ilios Travel transport us in there beautiful cars.
Our caterers were Kings Catering and our gorgeous cake was made by Denise from D'Vine Cakes
So thankful to my husbands brother who did it all for us, Digital Express simply created beauty from the menu to the printing of our invites to the gorgeous names on the glasses and the seating plan on the mirror!! Spectacular!
