Belair Pavilion

Belair Pavilion is an exceptional garden estate nestled on the slopes of Paarl Mountain in the Cape Winelands, just 45 minutes from Cape Town. The contemporary glass pavilion seats up to 200 guests and is widely regarded as one of South Africa’s most captivating garden venues.

Surrounded by manicured gardens and panoramic views of the Boland mountains, the steel-and-glass pavilion is wrapped in evergreen star jasmine and opens fully onto terraced lawns, allowing the natural landscape to become part of the celebration.

Belair offers several beautiful ceremony locations. The signature greenhouse garden chapel seats up to 180 guests and is covered in evergreen jasmine and ivy, with a water feature forming the aisle leading to the chapel. For larger ceremonies, couples can choose between the Waterpear Tree garden with rose-covered arches and a striking black-and-white tiled aisle, or the breathtaking Simonsberg Lookout with sweeping mountain views and a dramatic reflection pool backdrop.

As the sun sets, celebrations continue on the back patio beneath festoon and fairy lights, where a fire pit and open-air dance floor create a magical atmosphere for evening festivities.

On-site accommodation at the Belair Country House hosts up to 43 guests, with breakfast included and served at the Goatshed at the neighbouring Fairview Wine Estate.
