Our wedding day went off without a hitch!
We had beautiful, sunny weather and a relaxed atmosphere to share with the people closest to us. Our ring bearer was no other than our little puppy named Basil. He was so excited to be there in his tux hand made by Linda. Once he had delivered our rings he rested peacefully on the train of my dress. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to marry my best friend.

Our honeymoon was a week of celebrating that all the planning had paid off and that we finally, after 9 years, tied the knot.
We did a road trip up to Plettenberg Bay and enjoyed all the activities on the garden route.
We saw beautiful elephants, went standing up paddle boarding in the lagoon, enjoyed some nights in a private nature reserve, went wine tastings and horse back riding in the mountains.
I've always wanted a classic look and that's exactly what I got.
Blush Hair & Make up were absolutely amazing to work with. I got my Hollywood waves and perfectly bronzed make up which complemented my champagne dress.

We got married at the beautiful Kronenburg in Paarl.
Our flowers and decor was done by Mint & Magnolia. They did the most amazing job and definitely exceeded my expectations.

Leading up to the wedding I did a facial every 4 weeks from the month of January. I would alter between a chemical peel or micro-needling.
Week of the wedding I got my lashes done and a spray tan to give that wedding glow.
I honestly didn't focus on fitness that much, just ate healthy to keep my skin clear.

Groom and groomsmen hired suits from Eurosuit Hire. They seemed unorganized but all the suits looked good on the day.
My 4 bridesmaids all wore long classic steel blue dresses. We got them from Bride & Co, they were reasonable priced and very good quality.

We had the most beautiful couple capture our day. Bow & Tie Photography.
They are very talented and we felt so comfortable in front of their cameras. We also did an engagement shoot with them. Having 2 photographers was such a nice thing and it felt less rushed and they captured every angle.
We also had drone photography, this was organized by our coordinator Tarryn Kidd.
Tarryn Kidd was our wedding Coordinator. I would recommend her to everyone getting married. She was the biggest help leading up to and on my big day. She made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Literally nothing went wrong on our day and Tarryn made sure of that.

All catering was done by the venue. Food was absolutely delicious. All the guests mentioned afterwards how impressed they were.
My stunner of a wedding cake was made by the amazing cake maker Michelle Hopking. She owns The Cupcake Tarts based Somerset West.
I gave her an idea of what I wanted and told her to surprise me with the rest. She definitely out did herself with my 8 tier cake. The cake was so beautiful topped with fresh flowers and tasted divine!

We got my friend to choregraph a dance according to our song. We did 8 about lessons with her in August the month before the wedding.
