We had been together for 15years when my future husband got terribly ill. We were engaged but hadn't thought of a date yet. After his recovery we were closer than ever and decided we need to make it official and finally get married. We planned our whole wedding in 3months as we were just too excited to wait any longer.
Our day was filled with beauty and we were blessed with a quick shower of rain just as we said our vows.
It was such a perfect day and we are so happy we finally did it!
We had a wonderful honeymoon in the Wild Coast. We just wanted to relax and enjoy each others company.
I wanted a unique but classic look and I got just that. My dress was hand made by my favorite designer nichA Clothing. The lace was literally hand stitched on my body to make sure it was perfectly placed and the most unique dress possible. The dress was so perfect and even better than what I had ever imagined. I wore pink, clear, pointy toe shoes that just made the look pop. My hair was done my the talented Samantha in Lydenberg , she did soft curls and a beautiful rose bun with and infinity braid embellished in crystals and purls. My nails were done by Bee Hive Aesthetics and they did a beautiful French manicure with crystals on my ring finger and my toes were pink with a glitter ambre.

We get married in Dullstroom around the mountains and beautiful landscape. The venue was called African Leaves and we stayed at Linger Longer Guest house which was so perfect and tranquil.
I usually try keep a good health and beauty regime but I did try to avoid carbs a bit more than I usually do. I used a demo roller once a week with a healing gel for 3 months to help with my pigmentation caused by the sun which really made a massive difference.
We went with a very natural earthy feel. We use minimal decor as a venue had a beautiful passion fruit vine growing throughout the interior. We used candles, flowers and metal's to create the table decor
The groom got his suits from Euro suit and he purchased his accessories from Woolworths
My bridesmaids dresses were made by nichA Clothing. We decided to go for a comfortable grey, wrap dress
A wonderful friend and chef by the name of David created an amazing meal for us.
We designed and printed our own stationary
We are not huge dancer's and were very worried about your first dance. Two days before the wedding I got my nails done at Bee Hive Aesthetics and was told that they could help us, in just one hour Brendan was able to help us choreograph our whole dance. He is so talented and such a great teacher...we actually danced for our whole song.
We used DJ. Worse and she was so helpful and did such a fantastic job
