We finally tied the knot. Getting married to my high-school sweetheart, bestfriend and the love of my life was one of the best highlights of our wedding day.
We had our fur baby Covvy on our wedding day- what a special moment and both of our grandmother's were part of our wedding, having them at the wedding was a blessing and really special.
Sharing the last night as Miss. Kraamwinkel with the most important women in my life was such fun and memorable time and what made it even better was waking up the next morning with coffee in the bed and my best friend jumping up and down on the bed screaming at me "you're getting married, you're getting married" that was an absolute treat. Breakfast with my mom, sister, best friends and flower girls was really fun and they all made me laugh and made me feel special.
My big brother walked me down the aisle, seeing his face and all the emotions running through him moments before walking down the aisle was so touching and beautiful. It is a moment I will treasure forever and something special we shared..
Seeing my husbands face coming down the aisle. The look on his face made me feel like the most beautiful women on earth. Seeing his face and knowing he chose me to be his happily ever after was priceless and most defiantly our first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Rousseau as husband and wife.
We had the most romantic and memorable Honeymoon in Maldives.
We stayed at the Diamonds Thudufushi Beach and Water Villas resort for 7 nights.

My shoes were from ALDO it was absolutely gorgeous and it complemented my dress extremely well it was really comfortable.

Our ceremony and reception took place in the Tuscan Chaple and Reception Hall.
Our guests stayed overnight, it was a beautiful experience to have breakfast with everyone the next morning and being able to share special moments of the night before.

Estie van Wyk was our Wedding Planner, she did an amazing job. Our harvest Table was absolutely gorgeous and she made sure we actually got to taste some of our own canapés that were displayed on the Harvest Table.
Jaco (my handsome husband) had a stunning all black tuxedo made by O.S Man Tailor Made in Pretoria.
The 4 groomsmen had a traditional 2 piece black Suit with white shirts.
The 3 ring barriers suits were bought from Eurosuit. There suits were also traditional suits with black bow ties. We chose my 2 nephews and my husbands godchild to be our ring barriers, all 3 of them looked so cute and handsome.
I wanted my bridesmaids to wear something that they could wear again after the wedding, it was important to me to make them feel and look gorgeous as well on the wedding day.
All 3 of them had the opportunity to design there own top, to choose something that would fit there personality's and their body types.
I wanted the dresses to be black - black complements everyone and it is a timeless and elegant color. The tops were all black and the skirts we design according to the pattern I wanted. We added white flowers to the A-line full length skirts. The overall look was Modern, Contemporary classic.
I had my sister, best friend and best friend form High-school as my 3 beautiful bridesmaids, without them the day would not have been so fun and special.
The Flower girl dresses were all black with a beautiful bow in the front. There dresses had more of an classic and elegant look to it. Our flower girls were my two beautiful nieces, both of them looked absolutely gorgeous.
Rozell Koen from Vanity did the bridesmaids and flower girls makeup and hair. The girls all looked absolutely gorgeous and Rozell did an amazing job.
Tanya Kilian from Peaches & Spice made the Bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. Tanya is an absolute gem and extremely good in designing. The pattern for the bridesmaids dresses were designed and printed by Tamarin De Sousa from Design-an-invite.

Our Priest was the same Priest that married my mom and dad, my sister and my brother.
My father passed away when I was very young so I wanted to recreate a special moment that took place om my parents wedding day. There is a beautiful photo of my mom, dad and the Priest where they were signing the Marriage Certificate and I wanted to recreate that moment with my husband.

Our Reception was really beautiful and romantic.
Our guests had an absolute blast the evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. My grandmother is 84 and she stayed awake with all of us till the very end.
We decided not to go for dance lessons and to just take in the moment and to enjoy it. We have danced on our song so many times before in the past couple of years- why change something that is already perfect :)
