The day alone was the most memorable day, my husband and I prayed for our wedding day and God blessed us with the most perfect day ever! The Weather was beautiful and we were over the moon to be united (finally). We have been together since we were teenagers and we have gone through every milestone together and to finally be called his wife was the most amazing feeling in the world.
To me the most memorable moment would be my mom helping me with my wedding dress and then revealing the final look to my dad, he, of course, shed a few tears. I am a daddy's girl so this moment was magical. He could not believe that I was wearing my grandmother (his mom) watch and having my grandfather who recently turned 90 attend the wedding was a true blessing. When I walked down the aisle I could not believe that I was about to become a whole wifey, I of course ugly cried during my vows because my heart was bursting with endless gratitude and love I was present in the moment we so patiently waited for.
Our wedding was small but amazing we did not want the day to end. Until today I still get butterflies just thinking about our wedding because in 2020 we had no idea if it would be possible given the challenges we were facing but with Faith & Hope we got to Celebrate it with those we love!
Due to Covid, we decided to stay in our beautiful Province and explore the quint and beautiful Robertson, Plettenberg Bay, and Oudtshoorn. Instead of travelling abroad, we wanted to revisit some of the most popular towns in the Western Cape, we decided to take on this road trip together and enjoy and be present in the moment as newlyweds.
I always pictured myself in the most beautiful lace dress, I already had my dress pinned on my Pinterest (which bride to be does not have this).

We got married in the beautiful & majestic Northern Side of Paarl at our amazing Venue - Pearl Mountain Wedding Venue.
Our guests did not stay over as the majority of our family reside in Stellenbosch.
My bridal Beauty regime was to ensure I exfoliate my body 2 days prior to the wedding it left me with such a beautiful glow. I had on a face mask & exfoliated my face 2 days before the wedding as well to ensure I had no red patches on the day of the wedding as you need to ensure your skin is calm and radiant for your big day. My skin routine is as follows: Cetaphil cleanse, Toner (pat it on your skin - Korean skincare hack), Hydration Juice from Skin Functional, Eucerin Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin & Eucerin Sensitive Sun Screen +50 SPF.
It is important to follow a healthy diet as this also plays a very big part when it comes to prepping your skin for your wedding day, staying hydrated during the peak of summer was a vital part of my prep and as I suffer from eczema around my eyes I had to ensure I always have sunscreen on, this is very important. I use Eucerin Sensitive Sun Screen every day after moisturizing.
Chloe Ting Exercise programs got my bod wedding-ready, I felt confident and just amazing and my dress FIT ME LIKE A GLOVE. Exercising also helped me deal with wedding stress.
I wanted our Decor to be clean and beautiful so we had loads of Green & Whites on our tables added a hint of gold with the Table numbers.

Loretta was an absolute heaven-sent, such a kind-hearted woman, from the moment we started planning the wedding she was there for us, and on the day I did not have to worry about a single thing she took care of everything.

Our DJ was the absolute best!! We did not take any dance lessons as it was not necessary. We both love to dance therefore it was a natural flow for us.
