My dad stood on my Wedding Dress after he handed me over to my now husband :) It wasn't on purpose but it gave everyone a little giggle and added a bit of laughter to the happy day.
We had a few family members that were refusing to leave the venue, and we found out its because my brother, the Maid of Honour and Best Man decorated the car and they wanted to see us off in it,
We got married at Wards Way in Benoni.
We and our guests did not stay over.
No special regime, but I tried my best to not have tan lines or bra lines on the day :D
My mother in law and I went to Multi Flora and they arranged a beautiful colourful bouquet for me and simple stunning roses for my Maid of Honour.
No co-ordinator.
My dad helped me to organize and plan the day, and my brother was a huge help as he played the intro songs, held the phone that was streaming the ceremony and he was our MC.
My dad did everything he could so I didn't have to worry unnecessarily about anything.
And I got help and advice from most of the ladies in my life, from helping me clean my jewellery, having me borrow a Tiara, help me look at bouquets for inspiration.
My dad drove my Maid of Honour, Mother in Law and myself to the Wedding Venue.
He decorated the car with ribbons and balloons!
My neighbour is a baker and she baked our Wedding Cake! It was a simple delicious chocolate cake with Caramel Icing.
We had platters of Finger Snacks prepared by Flame Diner in New York in Kempton Park.

There was no Reception as it was an intimate Wedding with just family members and our 2 best friends in attendance.
