For me personally was seeing my dream come together. I remembered the first time I watched crazy rich asians and I said to Jared, my husband now but boyfriend back then that I would love to have a wedding like the scene from the movie. Obviously we had to adapt here and there but it all came together and the resemblance was undeniable.
It was amazing seeing all of our loved ones after some time as you know with COVID-19, more especially due to me losing my dad 6 months before our wedding, seeing everyone there to support and share the with us was just special. I really wouldn't trade that for anything. I know my dad would have been proud and happy for the day. We all knew how much he loved birds, so even the surprise doves release by my hubby was such a great gesture to remember my dad and to feel his spirits on the day.
Our wedding was personal and everyone that attended was so pleased and thrilled to be apart of it. 2 months later, we still have guest saying that it was the most special wedding they have been to and that's what we wanted.
The final memorable event of the day was walking with my mom down the aisle and feeling that sense of joy and sadness but dearest mom, you did an amazing job
So we didnt go on honeymoon but we moved to our new house which was as rewarding
I wanted something very natural as I'm not heavy on makeup and still wanted to look like me in my photos. What's a wedding without drama but thankfully Glam up with Terena came to my rescue and wowed me with the look. It was the first time she did bridal hair but it was perfect including the makeup and let me tell you, it lasted more than 16hours. Quite impressive
We got married at the most picturesque place that we have been to and when we saw this venue, we knew it was the one. The Venue at Shongweni is absolutely stunning and was very accommodating to our needs. It really did go with our theme of a garden wedding and it was just perfect.
I was left speechless when I saw the decor and the venue set up. @candice really exceeded my expectations of the night. When I told her I wanted simple yet elegant, this was exactly what was delivered. The room gave off such a warm and personal feeling that it still gives me shivers of how beautiful it was

Our photographer was totally admired for his looks, just a pity he is married but he really did an amazing job of capturing our day. He made us feel so calm and natural. Kevin Hsu photography is by far the best photographer I've seen. He does things so effortless and just a glimpse of the photos is out of this world.
We did make use of a photo booth and the guest enjoyed having this and capturing parts of the wedding day to keep with them

Our wedding planner for the day was Roxanne who goes under Rista Events,. She took care of all our on the days matters and ensured everything went to plan.
Our delicious food was prepared by Indian delights and boy oh boy was this divine.
Let's talk about our wedding cake, I've never been so satisfied and thrilled of seeing a wedding cake, Obsessive cupcake Disorder went over and beyond on our expectations and indeed it's was yummy.
Our printing and stationary was done by AAA branding. A huge thanks to them for attending to all of my requests
Funny enough. We learnt to dance by watching YouTube videos due to time constraints but I must say, it was not too shabby.
