Getting ready and walking down that aisle knowing this is it, the moment we have been waiting for I am finally marrying the man of my dreams! Having all of our loved ones with us to witness all of the magical moments, and of course, having my gran there with us on the best day of our lives (not knowing that we would be having to say our final goodbyes to her only 20 days after the wedding).
Our wedding day was magical from the start to the end, it was everything we expected and more!
We went to Knysna (x2 days by the beach and x2 days in a log cabin.
THE Dresses:
Dress no 1 (ceremony)- Weddings by Design 0823366606/0219767294 - Dress name Juri by Enzoani: I wanted a dress with a long train to walk down the aisle with.
Dress no 2 (reception)- Michelangela Bridal Boutique 076 711 0972 www.michelangela.co.za: I wanted an elegant yet sexy/fitted dress without the long train for the reception so that I would be able to dance
I wanted my teams separate for the hair & makeup.
I wanted a makeup artist that specializes in makeup and a hairstylist who only focuses/specializes in hair - after checking the work of many artists I found the perfect pro makeup artist & hairstylist.
I told my makeup artist that I wanted my eyes to pop since I naturally have really small eyes.
Since I have really long hair I decided I want curls and a braid.

Our flowers and decor were all done via the wedding.
Our color scheme was black, burgundy and blush pink.
The guys rented black tuxedos from Euro Suit Canal Walk, they purchased burgundy shirts and black ties from Markham's.
The groom also wore a black waistcoat
I had the look in my mind and found the reference image on Pinterest.
We had the bridesmaid's dresses made by the talented J'dore designs 082 923 9807.
I told the girls they could wear any silver sandal of their choice as the dresses are long the shoe won't really be seen.
I decided on a messy low bun for the girls since my hair was down.
