So we have been waiting for two years to get married. Both times before covid kindly messed up our plans. Luckily everyone of our vendors were amazing and kept 2019 prices where possible.
We unfortunately have not gone on a honeymoon yet as we have not had the funds.
My wedding dress was unique, it was an infinity dress from Infinity Dress South Africa. I was fortunate enough to have ny friend, Ashleigh Botes, do my hair and my other friend, Shannen Mills, do my makeup. My necklack pendant was my grans ring which I had redesigned. The chain was my grans chain. I wore my mums earrings. Everything I wore made my day even special as it all held memories.
We got married at Calderwood Hallm Boston, South Africa. Wow what an amazing venue, all our guests were able to stay the night and we partied all through the night.
I am a pretty calm person when it comes to this. The only thing I made sure I had done was my toe nails painted, finger nails painted and my hair was cut and coloured.
My decor was all handmade by my mum, my sister and myself. I had my mums friend, Mignon Botha, do the flower arrangements and the bouquets.
My handsome groom wore a suit which we bought at China Mall. We didnt want to spend an excessive amount on a suit and wow he looked dapper! The groomsmen all wore something comfortable and the ties were bought for them by the groom.
The bridesmaids wore a burgundy dress with detail on the bodice. We bought the also at China Mall. Amazing what you can find at these types of shops.

Our photographer was Elsie Baker and our videographer was her wonderful husband Gary Baker from Elsie B Photography. We could not have asked for ajyone better. They were amazing!

We were fotunate enough to have the food provoded by the wedding venue.
The cake was made by my beautiful mother.
It was all handmade.
Our reception was one of the best ever! We had an amazing evening with friends and family. My sister prepared videos from people all over the world who were unable to join us. We went for no wedding lessons and winged our dance completely! Our DJ was Gary, he kept the crowd going the entire evening!
