A highlight was definitely getting ready in the most beautiful space at vnl Residence and being able to share this moment with the most special women in my life.
Our ceremony was a really special moment. I had my grandmother walk me down the aisle. Seeing Thato’s face which was filled with so much love, him crying when I was saying my vows. Our ceremony was just filled with so many precious and intimate moments.
Another highlight was our reception entrance. It was absolutely fun and unexpected, we had our guests wanting more.
For our honeymoon we spent four a nights at Saseka Tented Camp in Thornybush. It was a picture perfect getaway. This was a spectacular curated bush experience. This was one of the most beautiful architecture and design spaces we have ever stayed in.

We got a married at the beautiful Vrede en Lust just outside Franschhoek. With its picturesque setting and historic charm, this was the perfect setting to celebrate our special day with our friends and family. Guests stayed on the wine estate. In addition we hired the vnl Residence for the weekend, it was such a beautiful home.
We had our rehearsal dinner at the vrede en lust pool house. This was a great opportunity for our family and close friends to relax and kick off the celebrations.
Nestled at the foothills of the Simonsberg lies Vrede en Lust in the breathtaking Franschhoek wine valley.
Health and fitness regime included weight lifting sessions at the gym and lots of walks.
I had a number of laser skin treatments at Dermology in Morningside. The ladies at Dermology were absolutely fantastic.
When we described our vision for our wedding day, we wanted a classic, whimsical and colourful setting. Our colour scheme was green, purple and pink jewel tones.
Fleurlecordeur did our flowers, Heike transformed the space, with hanging greenery and beautiful arrangements throughout the venue. I had the most spectacular bouquet.
Baiegoeters provided our lighting, furniture and decor Items. We had hanging fairy lights , lights bulbs in-between the hanging installation and beautiful jewel toned furniture pockets outside.
Our day was blessed with rain and capetents ensured our guests remained dry.

Our marriage officer was Rev Siyabonga Dyanti. He is a family friend and a Methodist pastor. Our ceremony was special and definitely a highlight.
We booked dearheartphotos for our special day. Lindsay has a special way of making you feel absolutely relaxed. She captured so many special and personal moments throughout the day.
fjsproductions were our videographers, what an epic team. They were intentional about blending in during our day and were very professional and had an infectious energy.
We had Margaux from blankcanvas as our wedding planner. She was an absolute gem and held our hand through, the postponement due to Covid, weather conditions and so much more. We are thankful that she helped us pull off our vision.

Our lovely cake with supplied by the amazing Kanya hunt. We had an elegant and delicious semi naked cake with beautiful fresh flowers
Our stationery was designed by sulit design. We loved our personalised menus with gold foiling

During our cocktail hour we had Kiryakut on sax.
For our reception we had Georgesax. He really got the party started,
