If someone asked me to sum up our wedding day in one word, it would be MAGICAL!
It wasn't the biggest or most expensive wedding of the year, but it was just perfect for us. Our wedding flowers were done by Dane Verwey and she completely blew my mind. I remember walking through our venue at Au 'd Hex Estate and I was speechless, I burst into tears of pure joy because it was absolutely beautiful. God blessed us with a beautiful day filled with rain, we trusted Him to pause the rain for a few minutes just so we could have our ceremony outside. Without a doubt He never disappoints, even a few rays of sunshine peeped through the thick clouds during our ceremony. My grandmother, who raised me, walked me down the isle which is a memory I will forever remember.
I am so grateful we had the best photographer and videographer who captured all of our special memories.

Close your eyes and imagine a venue filled with pink & white rose gardens everywhere, a deck that leads out onto a dam where our ceremony was. Our reception was a glass house filled flowers of every shade pink you can think of and the most exquisite flowers like orchards & tulips. We had a roof installation over the dance floor with hanging flowers & bushes that were sprayed pink & gold. Our tables had little gifts for each and every person, little Wilder gin bottles. We had candles on every table, we had white and gold rim chairs.
The food was worth every penny spent, not one guest complained about the food that the Taste Ateljee prepared for us. It was made with absolute love, how else would one be able to serve such delicious food. Our wedding cake was made by Bloss bakery and just melted in my mouth.
I could go on about this beautiful day, but I'm afraid I would run out of space to type.
We decided to postpone our honeymoon as we were blessed with two beautiful boys before we got married , Liam was born in August 2019 and our baby surprised us after booking our wedding venue, Mason was born three months before our wedding in August 2021.
Once the boys are a bit older we are planning on doing a white Christmas in Europe as a honeymoon.

We got married at the beautiful Au 'd Hex Estate situated in Wellington.
They have accommodation on the venue for 20 guests, we decided to invite our closest family & friends to stay the Saturday night. The Friday night we had our groomsmen & bridesmaid spend the night with us in celebration of our wedding that took place the following day.

Johan Crous was the best marriage officer we could have ever asked for.
Jane made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot, as well as our wedding shoot. She was extremely professional during all times. Our videographer Jean, was just as professional, he was never in the way and worked so well with our photographer. I would highly recommend both of them to anyone looking for absolutely gorgeous content of their beautiful day.
