If I think back at our Wedding day, it is mostly a blurr. I must say the day went by soooooo fast.
But I wouldn't change a thing! Not even the icy cold and rainy weather or the snow on the mountains.
I think what stood out the most for me was seeing my husband for the first time in the aisle with tears in his eyes, waiting for me.
And then obviously the I do kiss and the First Dance also brings back so much memories.
We had the best wedding that we both could have asked for, even tho there is a pandemic in the world. Luckily we could have made our world official!
No honeymoon due to Covid-19 and with me being a wedding vendor and husband his own business we couldn't take the time off.
Hopefully one day we can have a mini vacation in Greece.

I got my wedding dress from them. They were my first fitting and then I found my dress but I couldn't fit in it :-(
So I made a lot of other appointments to fit dresses and my mind kept going back to that one dress.
I asked Yolandi if I could come and fit one last time and that was just it, I asked them to alter the dress for me and they did, I could be happier with the way the dress came out.
We got married at Cherry Glamping in Elgin.

At first we didn't know this venue existed, but we use to drive by every time we went to Hermanus.
After we originally booked our wedding venue, the add of Cherry Glamping came up on a facebook sponsorship so I clicked on it and wow here was the wedding venue we always wanted.
So we went and had a look at the venue and we were hooked. We had to cancel our previous venue, but today we couldn't be happier that we did.
All our guest could stay over in their Glamping Tents, as the curfew was still 9pm. That made the party even beter because everybody could stay over.

Groom and Groomsmen wore Black Suits with White Shirts. Plain and elegant.
I had ties made for them that fitted in with the Bridesmaids Dresses.

Bridesmaids wore Straight dresses half floral and half maroon dresses.
I could find dresses anywhere so I had to have their dresses made.

We only had a photographer to save on cost, but that was totally worth it.
Our photos was stunning and got them within 4 weeks of the wedding.
Nope, I planned my own wedding ;-)

We had a harvest table for starters/pre drinks and then we had a buffet with proper Sunday food as we would call it.
Plenty of food was left over and the guest couldn't stop talking about it.

He was the best DJ for us, he fitted right in with the crowd didn't have to tell him which songs to play and not to play.
