I've always been a person who dreamed and planned my dream wedding from young. Anyone that knows me know how I absolutely love weddings, my dream job would be planning weddings.
My Wedding day was everything I could have imagined and so much more.
There was so much love, laughter, joy and family bonding on that day.
Getting ready that morning, I couldn't believe the day was finally here, it didn't even feel real. My bridesmaids, my best of friends knew how I awaited this day. They were just as excited as I was!
The butterflies started once I put on my dream dress, which was designed for me by Hanrie Lues Bridal. This is when I things started feeling surreal.
Walking down the aisle towards my husband was one of the absolute best moments in my life. It was like the world shut off for awhile and all I could see was him looking at me in awe.
I am a big lover of Photography, so we hired the best, Lauren Oliver. We took a drive to one of the viewpoints in the valley of thousand hills. We took our creative shoot there and it honestly was like a movie. I wanted to feel like that forever.
At our reception we ate, we danced, we laughed, our families became one.
Oh what I would do to relive that day!
I miss being a bride, and I cannot wait for my friends to get married to help them plan a magical day like the one I got to live on the 7th of March 2020 ❤
Yes, we went to the beautiful island of Mauritius. My husband and I both love the beach and it was our first time out of the country.

My dress was a beautiful bespoke dress designed for me so perfectly by Hanrie Lues. It was a beautiful Low V Neck, White, Full Lace dress.
My shoes were from Aldo, it was a Suede Nude Block heel which was absolutely comfortable.
My hair was a Hollywood meets bridal look, which was incorporated perfectly with my hair extensions & Beautiful Hair Piece from 'The Bejewelled Collection'
My make up was done to perfection, alot of emphasis on the eyes, wispy lashes on top of my lash extension and a neutral toned pink lip
We got married at Talloula in Bothas Hill.
Some of my guests stayed on the venue.
Some stayed at Matusadona Lodge
Some stayed at Phezulu Safari Park
Others Traveled back home afterwards
The only skin care products I used was Bioderma face wash
All the Decor & Flowers were done by Talloula (Glynnis Dirksen)
Lighting for the dance floor was provided by our DJ (DJ Wiz - Alleyne Morton)
The Groom & Groomsmens Suits were from FWD Trading.

I gave my bridesmaids free reign to choose what they wanted with the exception that it isn't revealing or short.
My colour was a soft sage green. Their dresses were designed and made by Indigold by Lee Wessels. The dresses were fitted mermaid dresses with a lace on the top
Their shoes were bought from Mr Price. A short nude block heel
