In no particular order -
1. Having my mom walk me down the aisle and give me away
2. Seeing my handsome Husband at the end of the aisle
3. My Maid-of-honour saving the day (we were having car troubles)
4. Seeing our guests with smiling faces and enjoying the celebration with us
5. Our first dance
6. Being referred to as Mrs CAROLISSEN (strange but cool lol)
We were fortunate to head to the beautiful yet trendy Thailand just before COVID-19 and travel ban hit. My handsome husband surprised me with the trip, just a few weeks before our wedding. It was the perfect mix of romance, relaxation and the right amount of partying ;)
We started our Honeymoon in Karon, Phuket. We stayed there for 4 nights.. our time in Karon was mostly peaceful and consisted of long walks on the beach, chilling with baby Tigers and elephants, James Bond Island, Chalong temples and visiting the infamous Big Buddha.
After Karon, we jetted off to the lovely island of Koh Samui...all I can say is WOW! We literally stayed on the beach at a little quaint resort called: The Hammock which is located at the less busier part of the Island. This is a must see. Our days consisted of eating and MANY beach days.
We ended off our trip in Bangkok, we were a bit more cautious with our sightseeing due to the slow spread of infections in this area. Our days mostly consisted of visiting the malls and shopping.
It was definitely a trip to remember and I am so happy that I got to spend it with my Hubby (still feels unreal calling him that - LOL)
