How did your love story begin?

Our Love story began 8 years ago when we were just friends baring an unspoken love we had for one another. Staying just friends all that time and living our separate lives, always thinking about one another. He then moved away for 2 and a half years working and living in Worcester and me in Cape Town. When he was down in Cape Town in August of 2018 we bumped into one another again. We started chatting, then bumped into one another at a baseball game two months later. We stayed in contact then, he came to visit and everything just sparked from then. We realized we were always meant to be more than just friends, we decided to give dating its best shot. And what a happy and fulfilling experience it has been. We started dating the 8th of January 2019 and he proposed the 12th of June at 07h26, declaring his love for me and my children, whom he accepts as his very own. I have three daughters, little princesses who will all be in our dream wedding. They love him too bits and look up to him for the wonderful person he is to me and them, he is such a good fatherly figure to them. I thank God for him every day and cannot picture our lives without him in it. God has truly sent me my prince charming. And to think his been right under my nose all these years. My Best friend, my soul mate and partner in everything.

Tell us all about the proposal.

We were talking about marriage for about two months prior to the proposal, went shopping and fitting on rings as well. We eventually found the dream ring. He was planning this romantic surprise getaway to propose lol. However, when he got the ring... He couldn't sleep that evening. Every time I woke up he was either sitting up or got up to smoke a cigarette. The next morning I woke up to get done for work, showered, did my hair. And as I turned to look to the side to put the hairdryer down, there he was on his knees opening a black suade box the most beautiful diamond and tanzanite white gold ring, telling me how much he loves me and the girls and cannot live without us, asking me to marry him on the 12th of June 2019 at exactly 07h26. I had the hugest smile on my face as I said yes because he is exactly where my heart is. He told me he couldn't wait anymore and that's why he couldn't sleep... Laughing, I thought that was the sweetest proposal ever.
