We had an absolute fairytale wedding. My dress, the food, the music, the photographer, the cake, everything was perfect. I married the most handsome man and the love of my life. Our day was so blessed and so much fun. The part that I was looking the most forward to was our first dance, it was so special and so memorable. It was truly an amazing day, I am so thankful.
We went to Thailand! It was amazing. We are so blessed that all of this happened just before the lockdown. Truly blessed indeed.
Since a little girl I have been fond of fairytales. I truly felt like a princess. I wanted my hair down, with a braid alice band as the focus point. I loved it. My wedding dress, wow where to even begin? It was BEAUTIFUL, it was custom made just for me. It was sexy and feminine. I felt so beautiful. I don't like heels, luckily I found the most comfortable platforms at Truworths! My makeup was done so beautifully. Everyone that knows me really well, knows that I don't like to wear makeup at all. Romay my MUA did a great job though, I still felt like myself, just a more beautiful version of myself. The only jewellery that I wore was my wedding ring and an extraordinary pair of white, shell earrings that I found at Forever New. There is not much to say about my lingerie though, does a garter count? ;)

We got married at the beautiful Natte Valleij in Klapmuts. This venue is so stunning and unique. The garden is amazing, something out of a fairytale. Our close family stayed on the farm.
I started using Dr Grandel skincare 6 months before the wedding. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I lost about 10 kg before the wedding, I just started exercising. Everything in moderation.
Our décor was gorgeous. We had candles everywhere on the tables. It created such a lovely, intimate atmosphere. Our flowers were beautiful as well, we did not overdo the flowers as the venue was already so beautiful. A family friend helped us out with the flowers, she did a great job. My mom has her own party business, she designed beautiful placemats, confetti boxes, welcome signs ect. It was marble inspired.

My husband wore a champagne suit from Euro suit. The groomsmen wore burgundy chino pants, white shirts and the most beautiful salmon ties made by my best friend.

Our reception was the best! Most of the guest sent us messages and said that it was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable weddings that they have been too. We took dance lessons, it was so worth it.
