Everything about the day was absolutely MAGICAL! From waking up next to my Mother (and best friend), to kissing my Husband good night was an absolute dream come true!
I can remember being overwhelmed by the most beautiful sunrise while having breakfast at the venue with my parents. It felt as though it was a sign from God and all our special loved ones in Heaven that they were ready to celebrate the big day with us too.
Even though most of the day was a blur, I do have very fond memories of genuinely laughing and smiling NON STOP!
Just having all our loved ones celebrating with us was a blessing...but my favorite part of it all was dancing the night away with Husband.

We were one of the very rare couples that had the Church ceremony and Wedding reception at two separate locations.
The marriage ceremony was held at "Immaculate Conception'' Catholic Church and the reception was held at Atlantic Beach Links in Melkbos (Cape Town).
Since Husband and I both live in Gauteng and had family living in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Vietnam and Hong Kong, we had ALOT of "out of townwers" that stayed at the venue and at surrounding Air BNBs/ Hotels.
I actually think our wedding party had booked out 70% of Melkbos that week :P

I was my own (long distance) wedding planner - being based in Johannesburg, planning a wedding in Cape Town (not for the faint hearted/ wouldn't recommend it/ don't do it).
We used the catering provided by Atlantic Beach Links (our Wedding venue) - and yes I ate the food, it was amazing!!!!
Our Cake was made by @littlebunnies - they did such an amazing job!
Stationary was provided by Oh Yay! - they made the most gorgeous invitations, menus, thank you cards, name tags and guest book ever!
We practiced our first dance 3 times, at home, in our dining room :P
