It is true when they say that some moments are just blank... Wow what an exciting and memorable day. The moment I saw him standing in front of the chapel, tears of joy was slowly leaving my eyes caressing my cheeks. I remembered he told me give me your hand, and then I realized this is it. I then started to actually focus by just taking a deep breath. Cheers and laughter when we left the chapel. It was such a beautiful day I would really like to have again. The reception hall was so beautiful with fairy lights. The touch of him in our first dance was magical. Sparklers in the background. This was just a beautiful day and night.
We went for a one night Stay at the amazing Kievits Kroon Hotel and Spa. We did not get a chance to go on a proper Honeymoon as my Husband came back from the US and got a new job. We will be going later of time on a peaceful getaway.
My hair and Make up was done by the beautiful Mia May Hair and Make up. I went with a Vogue / Vintage look, red lips, browns and cream eyeshadow.
I bought my shoes and Dress at Bride and Co.My shoes was a Champagne colour with a cute bow at the ankle.
My dress was one of a kind... It was so gorgeous and the back reminded me of my Mother's wedding dress so it was really special. It was a lace dress with fine beading detail. It had strings of fine pearls over my back.
Lingerie was from H& M. I also asked Tamarin from Design an Invite to make myself and my bridesmaids some robes. Mine was a see through robe with white lace.
My dad and Husband gave my jewelery as a present on the day which was really beautiful. I had 2 Bracelets on that was silver with diamonds and a thicker bracelet which had some leave detail on. I borrowed a ring from my mom which she got as a present from her Father ( my gran dad which passed).
I also got perfume from my Husband Roberto Cavalli... Such an elegant fragrance.

We got Married at De Haven Oost Wedding Venue. This was really a venue that stood out since I love vintage. The gardens is green and beautiful. Most of our guests stayed in Pretoria and some stayed at the Venue.
I am an all natural babe. I don't like diets. I like everything as natural as possible. My fiance worked overseas so I kept myself busy with exercises. I also tried to eat healthy as much as possible. I have only used Caribbean sun self tan lotion to give me a glow on my skin.
My decor and flowers was done by De Haven Oost Flowers by Retha. It was vintage colour flowers, dusty Pink, champagne and white flowers with little greenery. I have also added some pearls and feathers to get a Gatsby feel. They also have their own in house DJ which helps a lot. No need to look for a DJ.
They bought their Suits at Coqui's. The groom wore a Airforce Blue Pierre Cardin Suit. I bought he's cufflinks from Thomas and Benno. It was a Golf bag with some Golf Irons in Silver.
I bought him a Blue floral tie with some cream and white detail from Woolworth.
I bought the bridesmaids dresses from YDE. The wore Burgundy dresses.
Their Make up and Hair was also done by the beautiful Mia May Make up and Hair. The went for a very natural look with a lighter lipstick. Eyeshadow was shades of plum and light browns. They looked absolutely breathtaking.
Their hair was done in a German braid with very little babies breath.

Our photographers was the amazing Jacques and Ruan from Aiming Suede. These 2 guys were amazing, they made us feel so comfortable. Our guests loved them. Words cannot describe how great they are, their work is something out of this world. They really have a beautiful talent.

De Haven Oost have a Wedding Coordinator. Nikita. She was a darling and made our day extra beautiful.
De Haven Oost made the Canapes as well as the Buffet.
Fat Panda Cake Coutures made our beautiful Blue velvet Cake.
I designed my own Name tags as well as thank you cards. It was fun for me to do most of the things as it is really a special day.
Our DJ was from de Haven Oost.
We practoced in our living room. It was fun and very much entertaining. But on the night I was so nervous I'm sure we skipped a couple of turns and moves.
