There were a lot of Highlights on our wedding. The Chapel, the food, our sparkle run, and the fact that all our guests enjoyed themselves. My most memorable moment was the chapel. Just before I entered the chapel my shoe broke, that was the quickest I have ever got rid of my shoes while walking, and the moment I saw my husband everything was perfect. And of course when the priest announced us MARRIED! Nothing could ruin the wedding. Our timing with the wedding were also perfect, as soon as we got back from honeymoon, the corovanuris hit SA and the lockdown began.
Knysna, in the best lodge they had! We did everything Knysna and Plettenberg had to offer. Best time of my life! As soon as we got back from our honeymoon it got extended with the lockdown at home.
I was going for my own look. The wedding was vintage, but I had my own ideas.
My dress was made by - Tracey's Bridal Gowns and everyone's hair and make-up were done by Dione Lifestyle.
I had Anella's Shoes and Swarovski jewelry.
We got married at Damarakloof and some of the guests (including us) stayed at the Guesthouse on the farm. We also got dressed there.
I ate better to lose some weight and used a teeth whitening product.
I went to Dione Lifestyle to relax and done my lashed and hair colour with them.
I made the dresses at Maid of honor ZA. When I saw the style I was sold and they looked beautiful!!
I used my Grandfather's old Volkswagen beetle. My brother in law resprayed and renewed it just before the wedding.
I used Kollewyntjie for the wedding cake and Damarakloof did the catering
Invited, signs, and the wedding favors I made it myself. I liked the thought of doing something of my own for the wedding.
The Party Technician was our sound and lighting. I kid you not! The first dance was really our first dance ever! With no practice.
