Magical Moments

Every moment is completely memorable. The highlights i would say was seeing my fiance tearing up as i walked next to my father towards my soon to be husband.

The Honeymoon

We were spoiled by a friend who treated us to a two nights stay at the Caledon Casino & Spa.

Wedding Gallery

My Special Day

I basically did my own hair. Had no makeup, wedding dress was hired at Tracey's Bridal Gowns in Durbanville (came as a gift from my parents). Shoes i bought on a friends account at Donna. Had no lingerie, jewellery or accessories. Wore earings that i had and my watch that my Husband brought me a few months prior to the wedding.

The Venue

My guest didn't stay.

I used the local Learn2Earn hall and married in the old styled VGK church (loved the antique feeling about it).

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I couldn't focus on any of that, I depended on my natural skin.

Wedding Elements

My Decor was very simplistic and yet elegant, done by a friend - George. The venues came with its own furniture. Flowers I received from two ladies in the community the night before my wedding as they somehow heard that i wasn't gonna have any flowers at my wedding. Thanks Abby & Moekie

My Groom And His Groomsmen

They wore chinos and shirts from Mr Price, the groom wore pants from Markham, Shirt from Truworths and a Blazer from a discounted store we came across in Bellville.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

I wanted them to wear white as i love breaking old fashioned traditions. I got their dresses on sale at Mr Price in Canal Walk at a staggering R150 each.

Marriage Officer

Ps. Elizabeth Jagers, what an amazing personality she has.

My Captured Moments

We created our own little simplistic photo booth wich formed part of the decor and our photographer was Anena Burger of Palindrome Pictures Pty Ltd.

The Wedding Planner

I did not as i could not afford, i planned and arranged everything myself.

Wedding Transport

Oh my word, this was a total blessing... after almost crying my eyes out i made contact with MD Luxury owner Dillon Arendse who immediately told me that I can just provide a fee for the fuel... I drove in Luxury, at the cost of almost R0.00

Food & Cake

The Food was provided by Moira & Gateway Superspar - It was basically finger foods.

The cake was done by the wonderful miss Kaylee Aplon (Student cheff)

Wedding Stationery

We did all our stationary ourselves. Designed & printed.

The Reception and Entertainment

No Dance Lessons, sound was done by a friend (laptop and a speaker) and no lighting was used as we had an early wedding.(12:00 to 17:00)
