Magical Moments

We had a Fairytale Wedding off note! It was all we've ever dreamed it to be and more.
Some of the highlights were;
> The dress up at home, by the Famous Mithal Bridgmohan, he made me look like a real Barbie Doll (On all of my Nights)
> My Family excitement and tears of joy, all my brothers holding my gown as I walked out the house to the car. My parents and family conveying the most sweetest messages and elaborating my beauty.
> The Royal Agricultural Showgrounds is one of the most popular, elite and reputable venue's in PMB for holding exclusive weddings, and we were fortunate enough to have had this as our Wedding Venue.
> Our wedding cars were classy, we did a convoy, mine was the classic old school Chev, with a sticker saying "Started from the bottom", and ended with my Car at the end of the convoy a Tiguan R-Line with a sticker "Now we Here".
My husband is a car Fanatic and he came in with the New BMW X5 M, followed by a whole lot of TDI's revving and making noise. Was Class!
> Our photographers did an air view, they were incredible and made us feel like celebrities from the entrance right through the end of it all, capturing our every moment, with the best of quality pictures.
> We had the most incredible decor, and catering by Samcat caterer's, not your every day Muslim wedding. Our colour choices were Black and Gold, the hall was something never to be forgotten.
> My husband sending me a Message in the bottles to read out aloud, The most precious moment.
> Experiencing our Nikka (Muslim maritial vows), in the Hall for our of our families to see.
> The precious speeches given by family that touched our hearts
> The MC that kept our some what 500 guests entertained with his singing, and even made us play a game on the stage.
> The beautiful pictures taken with family, and lastly our beautiful photoshoot on stage.

My Special Day

I looked like a real Princess that stepped out a Fairytale book, with my Hair and make up being done by - Mithal Bridgemohan,
Wedding Gown by Bridal and fabric world (In Durban)
Shoes from a simple Shoe City (Needed something with comfort, but also class)
Lingerie, well just a lacy undie from Edgars, the gown has it's own Push up padding bra.
Jewellery, I wore a R500 pair of earrings from the Bling Store at the Midlands Mall (PMB), a crown from a Bridal shop in Durban, and A bracelet from an accessory shop in JHB, I was then gifted from my in Laws Gold jewellery to the value of
R16000 from SD Pathers (In PMB).

The Venue

ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SHOWGROUNDS (PIETERMARITZBURG)
Majority of my guest booked in at the City Lodge in Hayfields, some at other B&B's, guest houses, etc.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

My Husband and I trained at Planet Fitness at the Liberty Midlands Mall. (Although closer to the time of the wedding we had no time to train much).
I generally do a monthly Theravine facial, being such a loyal client my service provider THE BEAUTY HOUSE - PETALIA had offered to do a full house 1.5hr Theravine Facial, Threading and waxing face, waxing of legs and arms, Manicure & Pedicure, as well as a full body massage on the house for me.
I also did a Hollywood wax at Sorbet.
I went to Beta Dental in PMB for teeth whitening and clean up.

Wedding Elements

Decor done by Samcat Caterer's (Sameer).
Elegant Black and white, with a starry backdrop with intelligent lighting throwing out the gold look.
The most amazing steel work pieces of decor used, on the Stage the metal sticks with lights, on the front of the stage had a perspex cut off design, also on the stage had iron rod framework, we had glass tables and some oval and s shaped tables .Tables had arched steel work frames with flower stands at the centre, some had moon shaped centre pieces, all were different and unique. Aisl stands were so unique with chandliers hanging of each one.
At the entrance we had a sweetmeat display, and an Indian delicacy table also decorated, when you walked into the hall we had a decorated cake table with variety of teas from the automated machines.
Cutlery and crockery were also elegant and underplates had gold trimmings.
Fairylights on the ceiling and intelligent lighting streaming out from the sides of the hall.
We had a hall full of Fresh flowers, from the entrance to the tables and the stage, including the steps going up to the stage, were all decorated in fresh flowers. done by Akash.
