Magical Moments

It was probably the windiest days of the year and our wedding was on the top of Northcliff hill. It was a marvellous day none the less with the most fun photos you can get at a wedding! We got married with just 10 of our closest family members. Everything was perfect! We couldn't of wished for anything better!

The Honeymoon

Yes we did, we went to Club Med La Plantation D'Albion, we travelled business class and was treated with Moet on the flight! The resort was fabulous and all inclusive! The weather was amazing!

My Special Day

Our wedding look was FUN FUN FUN! My hair and makeup was traditional and I think that is where it stopped! My dress I had made and was perfect in every way - Diamante hand sewn sash - bright yellow netting. My husbands suit was made by Tailor me - white, with a Grey shirt and yellow dickie bow. Might add he wore shorts ha ha. We had matching converse sneakers that we got from the UK - embroidered with Husband and wife up the back. My earrings were specially design with our names - so one was his name and one was mine. I wore supehero blue underwear - Such Fun! My garter had a hipflask attached :)
Hair and Make Up - Erin Smilie Walsh
Earrings - Created by Lotsa Love SA
My Dress - Louisa Renke Dresses
Hi Suit - Tailor Me Parkhurst
Shoes - Converse UK

The Venue

The Northcliff Boutique Hotel www.thenorthcliff.com
We rented the entire venue from 8am on the 23rd to 10am 24th September - We had canapes and a 3 course meal. The service was impeccable. The food mouth-watering - over all they treated us like Royalty! The rooms are modern and have views for miles... It is on the top of Northcliff Hill. We had 12 people including us. The guests went home as we are local.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

My mum came over from the UK the week before so we went to Jacky B Hair and Makeup for my full head of highlights and a treatment on the Tuesday before. The Thursday before we went to Lady Grace in Northcliff and had, mani, pedi, wax, eyebrows, acrylic tips for both my mum and me. I also started tanning at The Sunroom at the Hetahway shopping centre - so I had a wonderful brown body :)

Wedding Elements

The Northcliff provided the furniture for the ceremony and the meal - we had a white voile running down the centre of the table and 3 flower runners with greenery, roses and candles done by Iva Braun of Bergbron Flower Market. My bouquet was also supplied by Iva and a beautiful welcome board which was done by Sassy Print - the greener was added to the easel by Bergbron Flower Market too.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

My husband wore a white shorts suit created for him by Tailor me in Parkhurst - he wore an Egyptian cotton shirt with yellow button cufflinks, yellow pocket square and yellow dickie bow. He wore high top converse with husband embroidered on the back.

Marriage Officer

Our Marriage officer was Andrew Lomax - what a wonderful man! We actually did marriage counselling with him for 6 weeks - which was a huge blessing as we got to know him and he got to know us :) I think that is very important.

My Captured Moments

Kelly Lombard Photography - WOW she is amazing! I wasn't the easiest as I didn't want traditional photos I wanted fun, energetic and captured in the moment of complete SILLY!

Food & Cake

The Northcliff - supplied the canapes and the meal - WOW WEE! Food is heavenly and nothing was too much trouble - Jaco is the man!
Petit Fours in Heathway centre made our cake - we had a Giant M - made of carrot cake and cream cheese icing - topped with macaroons and gooseberries! Delicious! I also arranged Giant lollipops from Party spot the ordered them specially for me. The said Meyburgh Lollipop you make my heart go giddy up... (to the tune of my boy lollipop ha haha - new surname Meyburgh) such fun!

Wedding Stationery

Lucky for me I am in printing and have had my own company for 12 years - I did menus and name cards all in one - circle with laminate and that was centre to the plate and a welcome board which was placed on an easel.
