It was 7 years ago when we went to visit his parents in Durban, not knowing im going to meet him. He was very shy towards me the whole time we were there and i was doing everything to get him to flirt with me aswel hehe.. embarrassing i know... anyway, after not getting anything from him but smiles and shy ness i just accepted it and came back to JHB ... The following day i got a fb invite from him and i was so happy but dissapointed as to why he waited for me to come back to JHB before getting over being shy hehe ... so for 5 years we liked and disliked each other until i saw him 2 years ago at my brothers wedding and my heart just skipped a beat and it was like love at first sight all over again and we were more mature and we couldn't get enough of each other since then and i couldn't have asked for a better man to share the rest of my life with.. He is my soulmate, bestfriend and partner in crime...
It was at my 21st ... I got my licence in March and the next day we went to my parents to celebrate it with the family and i was speaking to my sister in law and with the one ear i heard him asking my mom what is the right age to get engaged and my mom jumped up and ran to him and whisper something in his ear ... That night we layed in bed and i asked him what that question was about and he said no i heard wrong so i accepted it and went on... The next few days i tried to fish what im getting from him for my birthday because he said it's something big and he mentioned a car .... We went on and planned my 21st and i was suspicious that he might propose but had my doubts... i spoke to my mom and sister in law about what I suspected and they said no can't be so thinking they think im being dumb i dropped it not knowing they were part of the proposal comity lol ... so the day of my 21st and everybody is running around trying to finish and get to venue on time for the party ... night goes on and people are having a blast with the food, music and dancing and now it's time for speeches.... i hate speeches ... so my mom starts with the first speech and my dad hands me over my 21st key... while im still showing everybody my 21st gift bruno mars- will you marry me starts playing and i turn around to have this beautiful blue eyed man looking at me with the biggest smile ever and asking me, babe, will you marry me ... I hardly said yes and i was all over him with tears of joy flowing and people cheering .. Best day of my life... The rest is history ...
