31 Aug'19!!!! The highlight of my 27 years on earth. I can pin down a few very memorable things about the day but nothing will bring back the emotions and THAT feeling. From the moment I set foot on the venue I made a promise to myself "Enjoy every single moment, things will go wrong, embrace it and move on" and that's exactly what I did. We started off by doing my hair by the VERY best Rene and just sharing emotions and thoughts with my bridesmaids- they all got married before me. Being part and seeing them get ready for my big day was such a pleasure. The joy on their faces! "My Bridesmaids look absolutely stunning"was the thought that crossed my mind- when they were done.Rene from Ultimate Glamour started with my make up (He worked His magic on all of us). I was not allowed to look at my make up after he was done. He then started to unpin all the pin curls from earlier and I still remember this perfect curl falling over my beautiful lace gown and I just knew that I'm going to look like an absolute goddess. The moment Rene finished with my hair and the picture was complete he did a reveal and I was in awe! It was everything and more I ever wanted! Perfection, flawless....
Relaxing a bit it was time to get dressed. I dressed all my Flowergirls (3) and Bridesmaids (3). It was officially time for me to get dressed. During the course of the morning I was SO relaxed and suddenly my heart starts beating so fast. The moment is here, the moment I've been waiting for! It's me, the designer and my mother in the bridal room. Yes I'm doing a reveal!
The very best Diaan Daniels dressed me in my custom made Diaan Daniels Couture Wedding gown!
From slipping my foot into my dream shoes from Jimmy Choo (my dress was designed to match my shoes), to fasting the glass/crystal button on my dress- that moment was MAGICAL!.
The moment arrived to do my reveal! For months I kept my dress a secret to everyone and now it's my time to shine! My audience were amazed and SURPRISED me with tears, giggles, wow, hugs and laughter!
I'm standing behind big wooden doors. I can hear my guests. I'm leaning to the one side peeping through the leaves at my guests- very relaxed UNTIL Ruelle -I get to love you starts playing! Tears rolling down my cheeks and shivering legs yet a BIG smile. After my Flower girls and Bridesmaids made their entrance it was my time. The wedding March starts playing on a bag pipe (No I'm not Scottish), and the BIG wooded doors are being opened in front of me. It's difficult to put one foot in front of the other. I quickly gazed through my audience and my eyes fall on my beautiful soon to be husband ,walking towards him. Everything from here one doesn't matter now, I'm with him.... jokes.
Time for photo's- we enjoyed to laugh together, to hold hand and I still remember my HUSBAND whispering in my ear while we were taking photos "Forever" Our Photographer Isabel from Kreativ Photography and Design was s professional. Our photos came out beautiful!
We graciously opened the dance floor with a Waltz on the well know song from Calum Scott and Leona Lewis -You are the reason.
Every single moment was captured by heart!

Early in January '19 I already had my dream wedding shoe,I had 1 rule, my shoes must compliment my dress- no dress but an Idea. I went to a couple of well known designers and eventually found my match. From the word go I fell in love with Diaan from Diaan Daniels Couture. He knew exactly what I wanted and every single fitting was an absolute dream. My Exclusive Jimmy Choo's matched my dress perfectly and were visible .
I could make changes/suggestions and Diaan guided me and together we made this DREAM wedding Dress a reality.
Rene From Ultimate Glamour did my hair and make up. Such a talented soul. His bubbly/ friendly personality is what sold me when I went for my trail. He knew exactly what I wanted and mastered the look in no time! Make up: smokey eye, brown fading into a glitter . from a clean canvas to a masterpiece art work!
