I still remember lying awake at 5am the day of the wedding watching afrikaans soaps (ha ha) my one bridesmaid woke up laughing saying "who watches soaps on the day of their wedding at 5am"
I guess you do strange things when excitement kicks in and of course to make time pass.
I've never felt peace in my entire life like on the 18th of August. What a memorable day, flawless in ever way.
The highlight of my day was most definitely seeing my groom. While I was walking down the aisle I felt excited but nervous (in a good way) knowing that I'm about to marry him - The love of my life. We stopped at the door. When I lost my heart to you from Hillsong started to play. The bell rang 3 times and there is was - the door opened and I got to see my husband to be. The smile on both of our faces filled with joy knowing you are spending the rest of your life with your deepest love. What a moment.
We went to Sondela. We both love The nature and wildlife and my husband that's english braaid for the first time. I FELL EVEN MORE INLOVE WITH HIM THERE!
Wedding look was simple yet elegant.
My hair - was done my my absolute favourite hairdresser Anri Smith from Hair my anri.
Make was a natural look (I rarely wear any make up so the thought of make up scared me) but Mariska did an AMAZING job and I loved it!
I wore light pink and rose gold vellies by blu betty.
The only jewellery I wore was earings I bought from Lovisa.
And then last but certainly not the least my lingerie was from sissy boy that I bought from Edgars in Clearwater mall
Cradle valley guesthouse guesthouse.
The did not stay the night we only had close family that stayed over. But cradle valley does offer accommodation if there are brides that want their guests to stay over.

I didn't have much of a beauty regime. Only health and fitness and I followed my own because I work in the industry as a personal trainer. I followed a healthy balanced diet combined with weight training and some cardio.
Decor and flowers was done by Zelda, marcel and my mom. I had a very simple look with a lot of greenery and some feiry lights. Combined with my favourite flowers of course - PROTEAS.
Groom - wore a suit by Fabiani and may I add he looked handsome.
Groomsmen wore suits from Markhams and their bow ties was from truworths.
They wore socks from Fabiani navy blue with burgundy polka dots.
My bridesmaid wore burgundy dresses, long from YDE. They looked beautiful.

Food for the was prepared by the venue (Cradle Valley Guesthouse) they were so amazing that they even left a plate of food with dessert in our room for after the wedding. We didnt eat much at reception we had too much fun and too much conversation was made.

Our Stationery was from I create designs and printed by the catridge shop in Monument.
We definitely had to go for dancing lessons haha not of us were dancers so we didn't have a choice. We had so much fun with our lessons and it was just another activity to bond.
Our sound, lightning and DJ was an all in one package by Liam Welch. What an amazing guy to work with.
