We went to the You & Me by Cocoon Resort in the Maldives.
Unique Bridal truly took my design idea of my wedding dress and brought it to life, exceeding all expectations! I couldn't be more grateful to have had such incredible team behind the making of the dress. "Vogue" is the perfect way to describe my hair and make-up done by the extremely talented Clarita Smit. It complimented my simple, yet regal, wedding dress so effortlessly. My accessories, like everything else, was simplistic. I wore a dainty gold bracelet with emerald stones and pearl and ruby earrings, both gifted to me by my parents.
Faf and I got married at Bona Dea Estate in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Hermanus. The area was special to us as it is where we first met, on the beach, almost seven years ago. The venue itself was breathtaking and the staff at Bona Dea were incredible. Because of them, we were able to enjoy our whole wedding journey and be truly present.
