How did your love story begin?

It all began in 2014. I just completed my matric and I was out and about printing CVS and looking for a job. Darrel, who is my finance, worked at the internet Cafe. He assisted me with printing out my CVS and in the process stole a copy of ID to search for me on Facebook.
Coincidently, a friend of mine went to the same Cafe about 5 minutes later and he asked her for my number. I had just left the Cafe, and I see I have a message from him. We, then began speaking and went of a few dates, and here we are 5 years later, where I have completed my degree, he has an amazing job as a chef lecturer, we also recently moved out on our own.

Tell us all about the proposal.

Well, part of me knew he was going to propose, partially due to the fact that he blurted out that he had purchased a ring. About a year went by and then he decided to propose. He completely got me off track by making up excuses as to what we were doing that weekend, from going to breakfast, and going to jhb for the weekend, to just getting Krispy kreme(which is my favorite). We drove all over the entire morning then he finally took me to botanical gardens. I assumed we were meeting his parents for a family get together. While we walked, I noticed a guy taking photos. I wasn't too sure if it was us or just the amazing nature. I panicked abit and Darrel just giggled n he walked me into this corner and there it was, this amazing picnic set up with all my favorite snacks. I immediately turned around towards him only to see him get down on one knee and ask me to marry him. I was so shocked and I didn't want to believe it. After my mixed emotions of laughing and crying, I said yes. We then had this amazing photoshoot with our Bitmojis on boards with fun sayings.
The morning was so amazing and I didnt think it would get better but it did. He told me we're going to see his aunt at the gateway mall. He then continued driving to the coastlands hotel parking and he was like all calm and said let's go. We went to our room and relaxed for a while and we decided to take a walk, actually to the Durban spa where we spend 5 hours of pampering and relaxation. For months I've been dreaming of a massage. After the massage, we had a shower and attended the most scrumptious buffet at the coastlands hotel.
This was honestly the best day of my life. My fiance really went all out to make it a day to remember.
