Rodney has a thing for warm water pools and with this we decided on also keeping our honeymoon driving distance but also where non of us has ever been, we then ended up deciding on Citrusdal baths......and BOY WAS IT A MEMORABLE week of peace and tranquility after a stressful few months leading up to out perfect wedding.
We got married at the Eensgezind Function Venue which is situated at Klipheuwel Rd the Cape Farms. We had no guests sleeping over at the venue however we had very close friends fly out to attend our wedding.

The groom wore a dark brown suit , off pink shirt with very happy Music socks together with a charcoal dark grey shoe. The groomsmen wore a Beige suite cream shirt and beige tie that had the bridesmaids lace over it as well as happy socks and brown shoes.

Our Photographer was the very talented "Samantha Arendse". She captured every stunning moment of our day and was pleasant throughout the whole ordeal. One thing that really stood out when it comes to her work is that she allows lots of room for the couples creativity when it comes to capturing our moments.

I had no planner for my wedding day as the venue had a setup that was so appealing to all couples using there venue. Everything up to the speeches, dance, cutting of cake etc was pre-organised.
My father is a mechanic and a lover of old cars. he has quiet a collection and constantly working on restoring them to the original specification. I was transported in a white 1936 Pontiac restored from scratch and Rodney decided to go with the brown Ford Granada Consul 1972 (cause he loves muscle cars)

Well the reception was amazing. Our DJ from "Spinning Dex - Dj Service (Mr Henrico September) knew exactly what music was needed and when it was needed....infact we have heard so many great things about him and we decided to give him his freedom and he came through.
THE DANCE:
My fiance decided to surprise me. We were going to to dance as planned then as he came to the front his aunt brought his trumpet to him and i was a bit excited as i thought he was going to BLOW me away AGAIN :) however he then told all the guests that dancing is so old school and he would rather want everyone to experience what he will for the rest of his life.....then the dj played a backtrack (Calum Scott's - You Are The Reason ) and Rodney started playing and indicated that i should sing on his mark..... the experience was so amazing knowing that my husband blew me away in that way with his trumpet
