How did your love story begin?

My neighbor advised me that she would like me to meet someone at her church, months went on and eventually he texted me one day, we went out for Dinner what a disaster, I wasn't really interested in him. I read a book by Steve Harvey that said you should go out with someone on 3 dates before you decide if you like the person or not. The second date did not go any better, he asked me out again, I told my mom I am not going, she reminded me of what Steve Harvey said in his book At like a lady think like a man. It was on the third date, that he opened up and we had so much fun. We dated for 3 months and decided to remain friends, we were friends for 3 years, his father passed away after and the tragedy of the lost and the realization that time is precious made him asked me to give us another chance and we have been stronger than ever and I believe it is because our relationship is built on friendship first.

Tell us all about the proposal.

I took him to Franschhoek on the tram for his 30th birthday surprise and he ended up surprising me and asking me if we could get married.
