I think one of the highlights was walking down the aisle and singing for my groom, we had everyone in tears during that moment... including ourselves. And then when a friend sang the song "Ever Be" and we couldn't help but worship at the alter, thereafter exchanging vows that we had written ourselves.
I opted for a vintage and princess style dress, and that's what I got and more from Weddings by Design, who knew exactly what would suit me when they had met me. My dress wasn't the usual traditional white, but had a champagne tinge to the bottom part and white lace. We didn't want anything over the top, just simple elegance to add to such an almost celestial atmosphere, and Magriki Decor & Styling provided us with that. We had our favorite lavender flowers featured in the details like the lace chair tie-backs, bouquets and boutonnieres. Fairy lights were perfectly positioned at various points giving off a fairy tale vibe.
My groom wore an olive green suit (his favourite colour) and lavender tie, our wedding colours that incorporate a few of our favourites- like the flower and nature. His suit was tailor made and custom designed by GD suits. Never thought I'd be a "crying" bride, but I couldn't hold back the tears when I saw him standing there.

He did an absolutely amazing job and kept me in the loop about every detail while he compiled the music prior to the wedding, The song we entered the reception on was "Suited" by Shekhinah... the song that gave him the courage to ask me on a date! We then danced to "How Long Will I Love You" by Ellie Goulding, a dance we choreographed ourselves so as not to look too rehearsed.
