For our honeymoon, we jetted off to The Maldives for a beautiful 7 night stay. Perfect and peaceful.. just what I needed after all the wedding planning.
From a year before the wedding, everybody kept asking "Are you excited?" and all I could say was "No...just stressed."
On the day however, I was surprisingly calm and relaxed. I suppose it was my somewhat OCD planning that reassured me. After settling in at the venue's luxurious bridal suite, the team got to work. And boy did I feel like a princess for the day!
We had a traditional Tamil ceremony followed by a reception and of course... Dancing!!
Our day was very near perfect and almost a year later, still leave us wishing we could turn back the clock to that day.
