Magical Moments

Our Wedding day was probably the most perfect day that I could have asked for, however it will not be fair for me to not include the wedding planning process that added so much value to our wedding and made the wedding itself so much better. We were in such a privileged position to have two moms who were so helpful and so willing to help wherever they could. Our Venue @Casablanca Manor's Owners and staff resulted in me being the bride with probably the lowest amount of stress leading up to the wedding. The day was perfect, I woke up with my six bridesmaids and moms and we had a lovely breakfast together after which we headed to the bridal suite for our hair and make up. We listened to all the old school girly songs where of course we sang louder than the actual speaker could go! I was so incredibly calm because I knew everything was taken care of and I am going to marry my best friend later that day! Our hair and make up artist also contributed immensely to the state of our calmness and enjoyment as she made us feel so comfortable and ready for the biggest moment of my life - so thank you Rochelle from GlowCo Beauty for that. The big moment was there a last and outside the Chapel my mom, my grandfather and I prepare to take my last walk as a single woman. This was one f the most beautiful moments as my father passed away when I was a mere 2 years old and I felt extremely privileged to be able to have my grandfather and mother who fulfilled the role of my father perfectly in my life there for this momentous moment.
My now husband, Lourance, composed, played and recorded the Wedding March himself to make this huge moment even larger! Colin Smith delivered a beautiful and fitting message that we can definitely take into our lives and implement in our marriage. We were declared husband and wife and he sealed it with a kiss!! With the guests waiting outside, we make our way out of the chapel as Mr & Mrs and the most beautiful confetti is thrown over us - all types and colors! We then brought our best poses for our photographer @Ironrose Handcrafted Imagery who captured our wedding perfectly! Soon it was time to be introduced as Mr & Mrs and make our entrance into the Reception Area and WHAT A MOMENT! We then decided to fill each others mouths with cake (I gave him more cake than he bargained for!) Our Friends and family made beautiful toasts and really impressed us with their speech skills (well done guys!) we opened our dancefloor and danced the night away thanks to AMA Promotions. All to soon our big day was finished.. We are however so incredibly thankful to all our vendors and guests who ensured that we have precious memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives!

My Special Day

I had my absolute dream dress and the dress chose me at Whimsical Bridal in Centurion. It felt like the dress was made for me and I felt like a princess! The dress made me feel beautiful and confident. Rochelle from GlowCo Beauty captured my vision for my make up and my hair. I decided on an up-style for my wedding as I had very long hair at that stage and felt like a down style was going to be too warm and I really wanted to show my dress' back off. I decided on a dramatic smokey eye and natural lip for my make up.
