The highlight of our wedding was our ceremony. It was something special, romantic and different. It was special because Ruan and I became one but it was also a time where we could glorify God for our marriage! We loved sharing our special day with friends and family, we had so much fun and we experienced so much joy!
Yes we did go on honeymoon. We went to Mauritius for the first week, and for the second week we went to Knysna and stayed in a little house in the middle of the forest!

I wanted a lot of flowers, light and candles. I used To-Nett's flowers- decor hiring Group Paarl, to help me with my decor and flowers.
The flowers I used was mainly different types of roses, orchids and tulips.
Most of the furniture was provided by Ashanti Estate.

The bridesmaids dresses was my own personal design.
Hannah Lester made the dresses for me and I bought the material in Somerset West.
I wanted the girls to wear something pretty but comfortable. I envisioned the bridesmaids wearing a floral skirt with a pretty pink top to accommodate all three bridesmaids and their figures.

I did not make use of a wedding planner, I planned our wedding by myself but I did make use of a wedding coordinator for the day. Her name is Kristin Wicks from Ashanti Estate.
