It was memorable , because it was small and it was a weekend wedding staying at the Hotel on the beach where the ceremony and reception was. Only the most important people in my life was there sharing this beautiful day with me and Conrad being together for 9 years . It was my dream wedding day on the beach perfect weather facing the sea at sunset. The entrance at the ceremony seeing the groom's face expression looking at me with those blue eyes was my true calling for getting married.
We had a small ceremony with photos and champagne on the beach. Heading for reception at dawn with a lovely evening that followed. I would not change anything of that day.

I had a natural stunning look. Plain straight hair facing the back with a short veil . My wedding dress was plain , white with pearls and flowers on the top with a white wide bottom. Dress was bought in a small shop in Jhb. I had no shoes ,but foot jewelry on made with pearls matching my Dress and theme. My make-up was beige with white eyeliner also simple but stunning. Make up done by a freelancer Pam. I had a flower shape necklace,earrings and bracelet on matching my dress.
Our perfect day was in La Montagne Ballito Durban. Yes all of the guests stayed the whole weekend from Friday-Monday. Ceremony was the Saturday.
I am natural with no feeling of doing any treatments for my skin or body . I went for a teeth cleaning in the week of my wedding . I had a spa treatment feet and back massage on my bachelorette at Hunters Rest Rustenburg.
Decor and all arrangements was done by a wedding organiser in Durban. Yellow and white theme . Flowers was yellow with shepherd hooks and White umbrellas standing on concrete down the ail facing the sea. With champagne and flutes on ice at the side .Receptions was small one long table with white and yellow table cloth. Lemons in water in vases on the table with fairy lights. Silver underplates with program on each plate.
Beige shorts with white long T-Shirt , brown leather belt and bow tie. Bare foot on beach but with white slip ons in reception .

Reception was small but comfortable and we all enjoyed the evening. Cash bar and waiters attending to every need. We had no dance lessons professionally, we practised at home on our own using fairy lights for the mood. I had no Dj , my brother who was the ceremony master and did the Dj part as well.
