We live in Boksburg, and decided to have a destination wedding - beautiful Santos Beach, Mosselbay.... the number of friends and family that came from far, true friends forever. The weather was perfect, the colours came together perfectly. walking down from the parking area looking down on my nervous husband to be. My son gave me away that day as my dad passed away 7-months prior and our wedding was 1 day after his 70th birthday. but I knew he was looking down on me that day. But what made our day extra special was all our friends that flew down for the wedding. A moment I wont forget - when I put my husband ring on the wrong finger. Everyone was in stitches, and I thought he was nervous.
Yes we had a short one . A friends gave us 2 nights at Sun City as a wedding gift.
Oh my, my dress, wow, champagne colour bought at Bride and Co, Boksburg. Being a very plain person, my hair was curled on one side, with a stunning band on my forehead and two pearl clips. Hair Done by Jessica's, Diaz Beach. I had a necklace on, that my dad bought my mom a few years ago (something borrowed). Shoes were beads and shells between our toes. We had comfort throughout the day and night.
Santos Train Express, Santos Beach, Mosselbay. Some guests stayed on the train, some hired holiday flats at Diaz Beach, and in Hartenbos.
Ooohhhh no, I'm not big into pampering. I just took it easy, done my own facial and pampering at home, with my girls.
Being the person we are, we did not want to take the "BEACH AWAY FROM THE BEACH" if you know what I mean. We kept it simple, champagne table clothes, with Coral in scrunched up in the middle, glass vase, inside the vase was shells, sea sand, vet plannetjie, star fishes, etc. Reception was wrapped in white material, with fairy lights the windows were kept open to have the sea in the background... Words can't describe how it looked. A photo tells a thousand words
Groom wore Chino pants, Coral shirt, and his groomsmen wore Chino shirts, Coral shirts and bare feet in the sand. ❤

They looked beautiful. Bridesmaids, two if them wore a light Coral infinity dress, and 1 wore coral infinity dress, all wrapped in styles they felt comfortable with. My maid if honour wore a coral dress.
My flower girls dresses were made by Debbie, in Boksburg, coral dresses, very beachy and comfy for the little one's.

Mercedes Benz - drove me from Diaz Beach to Santo Beach and we had a SUV for the bridesmaids and flower girls.
Santos train Express made the food. My wedding cake was more cupcakes, in gold and coral, with a tiny cake on top to cut. We definitely did not go overboard on the cake. It was how we wanted it. De Vlamming Baker, Heiderand mall, know exactly what I wanted.
