It’s been almost 2 months now since our wedding, and I still treasure every minute of that day.
Everything was perfect, the weather was kind to us with clear blue sky and we were surrounded by all the people that are special to us.
My dress was spectacular and I loved wearing it all day. My husband thankfully fitted into his suite and looked dashing.
My aunt helped me with my flowers. Which were beautiful white hydrangeas. My self made arch came out beautiful and looked stunning as the back drop to the ceremony.
Our wedding cake was so yummy and much bigger than I thought we are still eating some of it 2 months later!
Yes we went to Cape Town. My husband is Brazil and it was his 1st time in Beautiful Cape Town.
I was a classic bride in an off white Cinderella gown with a touch of love. My shoes and my lips were red. I did my own hair and styled it as lots of curls and took some of the hair back and set with a pin. My makeup was done by monique@makeupbymonique.co.za. My jewelry was borrowed from Pearl & Diamond Designs, fourways. Pearl and diamond earnings and a necklace. Dennis R Lloyd designed my amazing dress!

I just kept eating well and kept to my normal facial routine. I did a skin peel 2 weeks before the wedding and teeth whitening 1 week before the wedding.
We used rectangle tables that was in a U shame provided by the venue. My colours were green, silver and white. As such I rented silver under plates and green tiebacks. Because the hydrangeas are such a beautiful flower I just put them in a square 15cm vase on the table. Along the isle I made the love passage of 1 Corth 13. At the end of the Isle I made a beautiful flower arch.
We bought a dark blue suite for the groom from Suit outlet in wynberg. There were not groomsmen.
I made my bridesmaid a dark green infinity dress with the top being sequence and the skirt was covered with soft green net. Green is my favorite colour and the infinity dress fits most shapes.

I did not like the wedding pictures. We got all dressed up again and took pictures again after our honeymoon. A friend helped us. We did not have a photo booth nor videographer.
No it was a DIY wedding.
I got dressed at the venue and a friend picked up my husband.
The venue prepared the food. Bells patisserie. Was such a yummy cake.
I made the invites and thanks you cards myself. I used canva app to assist on the invites.
We had a very relaxed reception with a DJ. EMC productions was the DJ. We know how to dance we didn't take lessons.
