My favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle to marry my best friend. It was the most magical day celebrating with family and friends. I wouldn't change anything.
We went up to the garden route and spent a week in Plett, Knysna and tsitsikamma.
My dress was made by the talented @tea_tarynella (Taryn Ella Alcock). My hair and makeup was done by the amazing Ilana Geldenhuys Makeup, beauty & hairstyling. I bought my blue shoes from zando which coincidentally matched my bridesmaids dresses.
We got married at Allesverloren in Riebeek Kassteel.
I ran my first marathon (42ks) in September before my wedding so that helped keep up my fitness and keep me calm for the wedding planning. I also went to gym. I got a self-tan the week of my wedding at Gingerlilly. I went to Milk and Honey Beauty Salon in Kenilworth to get gelish on my hands and feet
My décor and flowers were inspired by pinterest. I used a company called To Netts in Paarl for my flowers and Décor as well as a company called Happy Tree designs for the rest of my décor and the games. Fairy lights were provided by Allesverloren.
The groom wore a navy blue suite and tie from Woolworths and his groomsman wore blue chino pants from Woolworths and their suspenders were from bid or buy. The grooms shoes were from Truworths Men and his belt was from old khaki.

Our Photographer was Mathew Carr Photography. Mathew and his wife Krystal were both so amazing on the day and made us feel very comfortable. Our videographers were Bloand Weddings. They were great. We didn’t even feel as though they were taking a video of us.
The beauty of the fundamental nature of a rustic wedding is that simple touches with a lot of personality can speak volumes.
