As a little girl I'd never dreamed of my wedding day. However when you find the man of your dreams you realise you didn't need to dream it because you're living the dream.
Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The most memorable moment of my ceremony was when my partner put the matrimonial sindoor on my forehead and when I "put a ring on it" :) Having a traditional hindi wedding was beautiful, I learned step by step about the vows we took. Each little act has so much meaning and significance. Those rituals will stay with me forever and I could not have picked a better person to share this life with.
The honeymoon is what keep me going when the wedding stress kicked in :). It felt like we saved for a lifetime but it surely was work every cent. We went to Italy for our honeymoon. It truly is a magical place. #Travelbuddiesforlife
My wedding look was Bollywood. I had a Sabyasachi (Indian fashion designer) look. My outfit was from Sneha Designs in Umhlanga.
The true masters at work were my hair, make-up and dress-up guru's Mark & Clint Designs. They literally transformed me into a Bollywood Queen ('',)
We got married at Braeside Weddings and function venue in Ballito. This is a perfect garden venue. The venue providers were very accommodating to our needs. They were happy to allow us to personalise our wedding to how we wanted it.
We served ice-creams to our guests to keep them chilled while we did our creative photo shoot. The venue allowed us to have an Indian food station, which was provided by our decor/catering company (Maharaj's decor & catering). The food station was a big hit with our guests, we served traditional Indian foods.
We got Conway videography and Stuart Dods for photography. They both were amazing. It was a long day and they really keep the energy levels up. Very professional & pleasant to work with. Excellent service.
