This day was absolutely, the most special day of my LIFE. I thought I would be so nervous, but surprising not at all, as I knew Lucien was the one for me.. I even showed up on time, I just couldn't waste one more minute!!. I was more excited to start this new chapter in my life. There were tears of joy even from our friends and family. It was absolutely so beautiful and heartfelt. The love we share gets stronger by the day and this moment was so special as we could declare our love to each other in the presence of God.
Our highlights are summarized in our Gallery, Our family and Friends also had a wonderful time and im so thankful for that. We added a few photos of our guests having a blast.
Unfortunately, we were not able to go on Honeymoon. However we are still planning to celebrate this new step in our lives.
The wedding look I was aiming for was simple but elegant. I had a garden wedding in the middle of the Kalahari, (Upington, Northern Cape). My wedding colors were, white, green, silver/ grey and brown.
Ann-Lee Couture made my dress, my shoes were simple and comfortable. My jewelry and accessories were minimal, I purchased them at Lovisa, Canal Walk.
My hair and make up was done locally.
We got married at D'Wingerdskuur, Upington, Northern Cape. My guests did not stay over night at the venue, they booked in locally at Browns Manor, River Manor, Protea Hotel and plenty of other beautiful venues.
Well, I honestly I exercised, drank a lot of water and ate healthy. My beauty regime was minimal. I did manage to go for facials and facial peels. I unfortunately could not go for all treatments.
I made use of Tent Rent Company, based in Upington to assist with decor, furniture and the setting up of the wedding ceremony and reception. They were a huge help and everything turned out to be beautiful.
