A completely memorable day, that I truly wish I could do again and again. It's was a wonderful day that just flowed beautifully. As if written and captured out of a romance novel. A humbling experience that I can not begin to explain. Showered with compliments from our guests, this day was one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
We had the privilege to go to the Berg for the first time, and enjoy the incredible 3 star Bushman's Nek and Trout resort in Underberg. Such an amazing place of incredible beautiful, and wonderful views.
I wanted to keep my wedding look really timeless and simple, but still looking beautiful and elegant. My dress was full white, Italian stretch crepe, with a scoop neckline and long sleeves. Lovely beaded lace swept across the wrists and the train ran 2 meters long. 136 buttons were sewn from the bottom of my back line all the way to end very end of the train.

My make up was made to look bronze and champagne, with a simple natural lip colour. I wore no jewelery, except some simple pearl drop earrings surrounded by Diamantes.

An amazing gift from my maid of honor taking us for a lovely 2 hour full body massage for the both of us. A women's day to enjoy and relax. We were really relaxed leading up to the wedding, and just enjoyed the entire process of planning.
Our decor was a combination of classic and rustic. Navy, white and greenery was a part of our colour scheme, with touches of rustic wood and copper undertones. Beautiful succulents were really heroed in the decor and were popped into all areas of the decor, making up the beautiful greenery runner that ran across the square tables in the reception venue. The welcome sign and take your seat sign was all home made and formed a part of my diy projects leading up to the wedding. We had a beautiful navy, cream, green and copper hung ribbon tree which formed the backdrop for our photo booth. The venue itself has a beautiful calm and peacefulness to it, set out doors with the sugar cane fields in the background, the venue did not need much to look beautiful.

The groomsmen kept is simple with grey, pale blue and navy with touches of brown leather.
My husband wore a waistcoat to match and a beautiful baby succulent flower with the traditional Scottish thistle was wrapped in copper wire and worn as the buttonairres. They all looked super dashing!
My beautiful bridesmaids wore navy blue long dresses. Each bridesmaid wore their own style of choice each accentuating their body type and preference. They looked radiant and elegant!
