Magical Moments

Magical day filled with tons of entertainment and joy. From live singing to live drummers and even a saxophone player. Everything was just beautiful. A photo booth to entertain guests and pyrotechnics for our grand entrance together with some talented Indian dancers and even confetti to introduce us as a married couple down to the bubbles for our cake cutting. Just a perfect wedding overall. And the best part was our dance which was pretty amazing - Bollywood style

My Special Day

Dress, Hair and make up done beautifully by the amazing Rene Singh. Absolutely traditional and classic. Gold, fuchsia and cream sari with matching jewels and the perfect make up to blend with my outfit. Hair was in a low bun and decorated with fresh flowers and jewels. My second look for the reception was also traditional yet elegant and sophisticated. A maroon and salmon pink lehenga outfit with matching jewelry and make up to finish off the look. Hair was pushed to one side with curls and decorated with jewels. All outfits were purchased from Manyavar, Mumbai, India.

The Venue

The Kwa Zulu Natal Sharks Board in Umhlanga, KZN

My Bridal Beauty Regime

Facial at Camelot spa in Midrand
Nails at Sorbet Centurion lifestyle centre
Hair at Carlton Express Lonehill
Health and fitness - my own routine of eating what I wanted and not over indulging in any alcohol

Wedding Elements

Decor done by Golden Events and table decor by For Wedz. Color scheme was baby pink, white and gold. Kept with the spring theme. We planted mint and thyme in mini pail buckets as wedding favours to our guests with the tags “mint to be” and “i’ll choose you thyme after thyme” including “Let love Grow” as the messages, for them to spread our love and be inspired.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

All wore traditional Indian wedding attire purchased directly from Mumbai, India. Groom changed to a western suit for the reception and the suit was made by Gangaram in Umhlanga.
