Leading up to the wedding, it was the one disaster after the other. I just couldn't wait to meet my future husband at the alter.
My absolute favorite moment was walking down the aisle, seeing him and then knowing everything is going to be okay. With tears streaming down my face I stood hand in hand with him and the storms calmed.
Since the moment we said 'I do', we danced and celebrated with the most amazing guests through into the early morning.
Yes we did and we are so blessed to have been able to go somewhere.
We were away for two weeks, the first we sat on the coastline of umchlanga and the in the second week we were in total isolation in the Drakensburg.
The honeymoon was everything we needed after the stressful wedding planning.
The second I put my wedding dress on, I truly fell inlove. I went with a bohemian mermaid dress in a beautiful champagne shade.
I tried to complete this bohemian goddess look with gold and natural make-up, blonde hair and tanned skin.
The dress was paired with pearl and diamond earrings and bracelet, nude shoes and a soft veil.

We got married just outside of Pretoria at Bushveld Pond.
The venue was together with the chapel and reception on the same property.
Because of the distance of the venue, we arranged with B&B's around the area for guests to stay at.
Leading up to the wedding I went for tanning 2 a week at the tan can.
I also used the Vit C range from the Body shop. This helped my dull and stressed out skin to look its best on the wedding day.
I also applied a weekly face mask for maximum results.
My diet consisted out of chicken breasts and salad with a lot of water. I went to gym daily and this also helped for stress relief.
My flowers were done and purchased from Multiflora. I had round tables this on the table kept the shape with round floral centerpieces. All decor was done by the bride and her family, behemiamn greenery and atmospheric lighting.
All/most furniture was provided by the venue themselves.
