We first met at a house party in February, 2013. I called it of 3months later... After a year we saw each other again and fell in love instantly. We spend a year together at university and then we were in a long distance relationship for 3 and a half years. The hardest was when we could only see each other after 3months at a time. We never doubted our relationship because we knew that God had a plan for us and that we were made for each other. 2 and a half years in our long distance relationship in 2017 he popped the question. hooray! We know that God has planned a beautiful future for us.
We went on holiday to Cape town. The 2nd of August 2017 we went to the botanical gardens, there after finding the right place, he pretended to take a photo of us and the mountains behind us, me with no idea at all posing for the camera. Meanwhile he was taking a video and he got on one knee. I didn't expect it at all though I did catch him being nervous for some reason while we were walking around in the botanical gardens...
