Right before the ceremony I received a card that Michael wrote for me. I really had to fight back the tears not to smudge my make-up. The words in there were the same as the vows I wrote for our ceremony. I just new again that God put us together and that Michael was my ultimate, forever person.
We had an amazing honeymoon in Mauritius. Even with four seasons in one day, we had so much fun. The idea of having this awesome man as my husband is just mind blowing. We spend a great deal of time just calling each other my wifey and my hubby, and then laughing at how silly we are.
My dress was a Sottero & Midgley - Maxwell Rose design that I bought from Olivelli Bridal in Northcliff. A beautiful mermaid in stunning lace.
My hair was in a high, big bun and my make-up was shades of dramatic purple for my eyes and nude lips. All done by the talented Annice from Annice Make-up.
The flowercrown surrounding my bun was made by KROON Handcrafted Headpieces.
My only jewellery was my earrings from Lovisa.
A wore cobalt blue shoes from Foschini that blinged up myself.

We got married at Vivere Country House and Conference Venue. A stunning French Venue with lots of game. They cater for small, intimate Venues. It was absolutely love at first sight. Marie and Myrna became friends over the months of planning. All our guests slept over as we only had 17 guests.

My decor and flowers were done by Myrna from Bella-Dow that is part of Vivere Counrty House. We had a main colour of Royal Blue and then multi coloured flowers in purple, pink and red. Bright and in keeping with our Spring day wedding.
The groom wore a blue suit from Edgars and a tie from Bride & Co. We had no groomsmen. I had beautiful cufflinks made for him with our names and wedding date on one and "love you to the moon and back" on the other one.
I only had one bridesmaid and she wore a floral dress in an off the shoulder boho style. I got the dress online from Alles en Meer.

The food was prepared by Vivere's chef. It was a harvest table snd 5 courses with two deserts.
Our wedding cake was a huge highlight of the day!! It was a cheese wedge biltong znd drywors cake made by talented Linda from Crazy Cow Catering. It was an absolute showstopper.
