Magical Moments

We had an amazing wedding all-round. We got to celebrate our beautiful day with all of our closest friends and family. One of the best memories I have from my wedding is seeing my handsome fiance waiting for me at the alter, and our first dance was also just full of love for each other. We had some funny moments where our best man was doing Magic Mike dance moves with the mop (someone spilt red wine) that we all just could not stop laughing at ! And watching our stunning little flower girls just all getting along and dancing together just made my heart melt !

The Honeymoon

Yes ! I was fortunate enough to be whisked away on a surprise honeymoon to Mauritius with my new husband !

Wedding Gallery

My Special Day

My hair was curled, pushed to the side with an almost vintage look to it. My one bridesmaid is a hairdresser so she did my hair for me, I was very lucky !

My make up was very calm but bold, I did not want a lot of make up but I did want to be able to see it.

My wedding dress was a funny story, after a friend convinced me to look in the one bridal shop, I took a wild card and it became the dress of my dreams. It was crisp white, A lot of lace everywhere. A soft mermaid style with bead work i the front on the top, bead work on my straps and around my open back piece.

My shoes were plain heels, nude in colour.

I wore a stunning pair of undies from Woolworths, I was gifted with gold bangles from my mother in-law to be and I wore a gold ring from my Ouma who had passed just a couple of months earlier, and my earrings were gifted to me also from my sister in law to be also :)

The Venue

We had our whole wedding at the oh so beautiful Orchards our wedding venue in Balgowan, Midlands. Our bridal party spent the evening with us in the bridal house on the property and guests stayed at various accommodation around the venue.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I went for various facial and skin treatments on my face, made sure I looked after my skin in general and teeth also.
I started exercising and dieting and I lost 10kgs in the last 6 months before my wedding.

Wedding Elements

My decor and flowers was all done by an amazing lady who owns her own decor company in Durban called Carron's Decor and Events.
Our DJ was Igal Abergal, and our MC a very close friend of ours!

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The groom and groomsman all wore stunning blue suits with bow ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. They rented their suits from a company called Suit Yourself in Durban North.

They all wore funky socks also which was hilarious ! One of the groomsman organised them.

Food & Cake

CHC Catering prepared all our food, they had made (all in house) stunning canapes for our guest, home baked breads and a divine buffet that was just too tasty for mains ! We had a sweet table for dessert and our beautiful cake and cupcakes were baked by Nicole's signature cakes, who is based in Ballito.
