Magical Moments

What an AMAZING DAY! From beginning to end... I couldn't stop smiling and laughing.
The most memorable moment for me was walking down the isle with my Dad and looking at my husband to be, the happiest moment by far!
Highlight-Definitely the Grooms speech, couldn't stop laughing and crying. What a special moment!

The Honeymoon

Mr. Byrne arranged a surprise Honeymoon to Mauritius-Beachcomber Victoria for 2.

The Venue

We got married at The Laughing Forest, Elysium on the South Coast. Debbie and Phil (owners of the venue) are very accommodating and made our day/stay extra special.
Yes, most of our guests stayed over. The venue could sleep 35 of our guests, mainly our family, bridal party and close friends. Other guests managed to find accommodation close by.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

Leading up to our special day was absolutely amazing!
My Bridal party really made this time special for me. I received a monthly count down from 4 months to go, their gifts were so thoughtful and really came into 'handy' for prepping for my day. The final 1 month to go, I received a gift everyday from my bridesmaids.. They were and ARE phenomenal!

Health and fitness- I took part in one of my best friends 8 Week Boot camp challenge-SHIFT at Virgin Active in Amanzimtoti. Shelley Higgo. She was one of my bridesmaids and really pushed me and trained with me and got me ready for my special day. We still train together now. She is such an inspiration to many.

Spa treatments- My Bridal party surprised me with a full body massage at Armani Spa in Amanzimtoti, this was part of my 3 month to go countdown gift. They booked the appointment for me, and also surprised me on the day and spoilt me with lunch. What a day to remember!

My Groom And His Groomsmen

Getting married to a fisherman, the Bride had no say haha
The Groomsmen went for a really cool, casual comfortable look.

* Navy blue shorts- David Jones range from Woolwoths

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My Bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses that were made by Madelain Clark in Amanzimtoti (Madelain Clark Exclusive).
See images in the gallery.
I found the idea/look on Pinterest. I wanted the girls to be able to wear their dresses again as it was part of a gift from me to them to thank them.
The style was a high/low effect with some lace.
The girls were very happy with their dresses. Madelain Clark did a surberb job.

* Hair and make up- Blush Pro Make-up (Cindi Laird and Candice Mills Matthee)
*Shoes-Navy blue Zellies (Most comfortable wedge shoe ever). Zellie footwear
*Jewelry- Lovisa (Earrings and bracelet)

Marriage Officer

Our marriage was officiated by Pastor Wesley Pulvenis from Cedar Hill Church in Amanzimtoti.
Sheldon and I had the privilege to sit with Pastor Wesley for a few weeks to really enjoy this time together and to chat about a few topics with regards to our marriage.
Pastor Wesley was great and always willing to assist us where he could and gave us great advice for our marriage.
We are so grateful for this.

A family friend, Annette Burger Swart from B'Exquisite Events (Hartbeespoort, JHB) helped me with my decor and flower arrangements. She really did a superb job!
Otherwise I did most of the planning myself, really enjoyed putting our special together and just can't believe how fast the actual day went by. Would have not changed a thing!

Food & Cake

Our wedding venue prepped the food. The Laughing Forest. Debbie and her amazing team.
We went for a buffet style, it was delicious! Really enjoyed the food.

We highly recommend Jarryd and his team! What party starters and great service! Definitely value for money!
